India head to Hyderabad in confident mood and one thinks the surface there will be similar to the one we saw in Chennai. Anyway, well done to India and please join us for coverage of the 2nd Test match in Hyderabad, starting at 3pm Aust EST on Saturday.
So at least today Australia picked up two second innings wickets and will have some small positives to gain from the first Test. Moises Henriques did well on debut, James Pattinson took 6 wickets in the match. But Australia's batsmen still have work to do
So India dominate the first Test from Day 3 on, the news will undoubtedly be that MS Dhoni is the player of the match for his wonderful double-ton. Ashwin was brilliant with 13 wickets in the game.
Over 11.3: Lyon to Pujara, one run, comes forward and gets an edge, Wade can't hold it and the ball flies over the head of Clarke at slip, the match is over - India win by 8 wickets and go 1-nil up in the series.
