48th Over
This group then goes down to the wire with New Zealand (3 points) to play England (2 points) and Sri Lanka (2 points) to face Australia (1 point). So depending on the results of these games, any two of the four teams can find themselves in the semi finals
No surprises that Sangakkara was named Man of the Match
But the master stroke was sending n Kulasekara at the fall of the third wicket, his sparkling and spanking 58 off just 38 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes blew England out of the water. Anderson bowled well taking 2, but the rest were picked off regularly
What an amazing win for Sri Lanka. They always seemed in control, and Sangakkara's innings of 134 (135 balls, 12 fours) was masterful, and he was so ably supported by Dilshan with 44 (56 balls, 3 fours 1 six) and Jayawardene 42 (43 balls, 3 fours, 1 six)
