38th Over
They'll need to regroup and put in a much better overall performance if they are to compete against Australia A. Their squad will be bolstered and hopefully will lift the current group who aren't performing well. That series begins on Saturday. See ya!
Quiney was run out for another fine innings which left Hill and White to see the Vics home in a canter, and a trifecta of wins against the tourists who have yet to acclimatise it seems, struggling with both bat and ball.
They did the job with the ball and Quiney and Handscomb got them off to the perfect start with an opening stand of 83. Hill joined Quiney and the pair kept the scoreboard ticking over as the total passed 100.
A crushing win for Victoria, with many first XI players back in the side following Monday's win by their second XI's, they've cruised home against the England Lions to win by 8 wickets with 75 balls to spare.
