The Lend Lease NSW Breakers retain the WNCL title, winning by 15 runs on the D/L method, ahead on the par score when the match was called off.
The umpires have inspected the playing area. Though the rain has eased it is very wet and there will be no more play.
Still raining. The umpires advise they will be checking the conditions again at 5:30 but it doesn't look good.
The rain continues to fall here at the SCG. The chances of a resumption in play are looking remote at the moment.
