55th Over
MATCH RESULT: Victorian Bushrangers 219 (McKay 65, Behrendorff 4/29) & 5/171 (Wade 50*, Behrendorff 3/24) df. Western Warriors 248 (North 87, McKay 2/49) & 138 (Johnson 40*, Pattinson 4/42) by 5 wickets. Points: VIC 6, WA 2. MOM: Clint McKay (VIC).
Clint McKay is the man of the match with a terrific all around match, hitting 65 off 51 balls to lift the Bushrangers up to 219 and taking five wickets overall, three in the Warriors' second innings. Thanks for your company throughout. See you next time!
They did that with several big overs, two off them off Beer's bowling that first eased the pressure and then broke the shackles completely, Wade reaching his 50 as the pair added 71 to see the Bushrangers home.
But they suffered a mini collapse, losing 3/2 in 15 deliveries, with Rogers and Finch given out leg before and Hussey spooning a catch to mid off. The run rate slowed as Wade and Keath had to steady the ship.
At lunch they were going along comfortably at 2/58 having bowled the Warriors out for 138 earlier in the morning and leaving themselves 168 to get. And with the score at 2/97 they were in sight of a comfortable victory.
And so the Commonwealth Bank Victorian Bushrangers have claimed their third outright win of the season, a five wicket win that at one stage didn't look likely.
Over 54.1: Johnson to Wade, four byes, full and down leg side, doesn't connect but it escapes underneath Triffitt, the runs come from four byes!

Over 53.3: MEK Hussey to Keath, one run, full and on the pads, whips it backward of square, that's one of the three needed

53rd Over
Could have ended it there with some bat on it. The batsmen have requested the four extra over allowed to get the runs with tea due. Hussey continues.

Over 52.5: Johnson to Wade, no run, around the wicket, short ball has him up on his toes, defending to the off side
Over 52.4: Johnson to Wade, two runs, whips a full ball off his toes to deep backward square, more excellent running, these two have run very well - just 3 needed
Over 52.3: Johnson to Keath, one run, short of a good length ball, on his toes and defends it out to cover, they scamper through, another single - 5 needed
Over 52.2: Johnson to Keath, no run, short ball bouncer, over off stump and he ducks it comfortably
Over 52.1: Johnson to Keath, no run, short of a good length ball, stops on him as he defends it back up the pitch
