Western Australia Retravision Warriors defeated the XXXX Gold Queensland Bulls by 110 runs, to secure a bonus point victory in tonight's Ryobi Cup match. Thanks for reading, and talk to you again when these two sides meet in the Sheffield Shield on Monday
WA Retravision Warriors 4/308 - Marsh 155* (147), Voges 112 (116), Gale 3/50 (11) defeated. XXXX Gold Queensland Bulls 198 - Reardon 58 (50), Behrendorff 3/39 (12), Coulter-Nile 3/48 (10), Agar 3/51 (10.4). Points - WA 5, QLD 0. MOTM - Marsh
Shaun Marsh (155*) was brilliant today and Adam Voges (112) played outstandingly well also. Then the bowlers did a great job with Behrendorff probably the best, but all did a fine job.
The Warriors have recorded another big victory, winning by 110 runs tonight on the back of a 111 run win over New South Wales a few days ago. Apart from losing two early wickets, the Warriors dominated this match.
M.Gale - c:Hogan b:Agar 12 (23 balls). FOW 10/198 (43.4), 10th wicket partnership (Gale/McDermott) of 4 runs. A.McDermott - 2* (5 balls).
Over 43.4: Agar to Gale, no run, OUT, all over with Gale down the pitch and driving very high in the air. Hogan at long takes it easily as WA secure another bonus point victory!
Over 43.3: Agar to McDermott, leg bye, slip comes in as McDermott deflects it fine off his pad for a leg bye.
Over 43.2: Agar to Gale, one run, swings it away through midwicket for an easy single.
Over 43.1: Agar to Gale, no run, down the pitch and plays back to the bowler.
43rd Over
Over 42.6: Coulter-Nile to McDermott, two runs, DROPPED, clubs a drive flat towards mid off and a jumping Agar has the ball burst through his hands. QLD 9/196 (Gale 11, McDermott 2)
Over 42.5: Coulter-Nile to McDermott, no run, pushes at a lifting ball and beaten wide of off stump.
Over 42.4: Coulter-Nile to McDermott, no run, whipped off the pads to a diving Behrendorff at square leg.
Over 42.3: Coulter-Nile to McDermott, no run, leans into a full ball and defends firmly to mid off.
Coulter-Nile has bowled with good pace tonight and has got some movement as well. Both combined to remove Gannon there, Western Australia close to a big victory.
C.Gannon - b:Coulter-Nile 3 (6 balls, 4 minutes). FOW 9/194 (42.2), 9th wicket partnership (Gale/Gannon) of 4 runs (7 balls, 4 minutes). The last batsman is Alister McDermott.
Over 42.2: Coulter-Nile to Gannon, no run, OUT, two regulation slips in now as Gannon is bowled off the edge! He was on the crease, the ball jagged back and fell onto the stumps.
Over 42.1: Coulter-Nile to Gannon, two runs, reaches outside off stump and runs the ball past the wide slip for a couple.
42nd Over
Over 41.6: Agar to Gannon, one run, pushes a drive away through the cover gap for a single. QLD 8/192 (Gale 11, Gannon 1)
Over 41.5: Agar to Gannon, no run, defends straight back to the bowler.
Over 41.4: Agar to Gannon, no run, same again with Marsh making a good save.
Over 41.3: Agar to Gannon, no run, reaches for the ball and defends with an edge on the bounce to slip.
Over 41.2: Agar to Gale, one run, attempts a sweep shot to a ball outside off stump and gets a little inside edge.
N.Reardon - c:Hussey b:Agar 58 (50 balls, 73 minutes). FOW 8/190 (41.1), 8th wicket partnership (Reardon/Gale) of 43 runs (39 balls, 29 minutes). The new batsman is Cameron Gannon.
Over 41.1: Agar to Reardon, no run, OUT, slog sweeps again but he hasn't quite got this one. Hussey is out there at deep midwicket and he doesn't drop catches, takes it nicely.
