20th Over
MATCH RESULT: Sydney Sixers 5/185 (Henriques 49*, Watson 46, Smith 26, Ashwin 2/32, Jadeja 1/26) df. Chennai Super Kings 9/171 (Raina 57, du Plessis 43, Ashwin 18, Henriques 3/23, Starc 3/31) by 14 runs. Points: SYS 4, CSK 0. MOM: Moises Henriques (SYS).
A super effort from Moises Henriques, a clear choice for man of the match with 49* with the bat and 3/23 with the ball to help the Sixers to a crucial win here at Johannesburg. Thanks for your company, see you next time!
But a superb catch from Steve Smith right on the long on rope to dismiss Raina turned the match in favour of the Sixers and a steady stream of wickets enabled the Sixers to win quite comfortably in the end.
The Super Kings got off to a good start with wickets in hand and with Raina powering along in the middle over, they were more than a chance of winning.
A terrific win for the Sydney Sixers against the powerhouse Chennai Super Kings at the New Wanderers Stadium, restricting the IPL side to 14 runs shy of their total of 5/185.
