50th Over
And with the run rate climbing, the Windies were always having to swing the bat and fell short in the finish. A 5-0 series win and Adam Voges named man of the match with a brilliant unbeaten century. Thanks for your company this series. Cheers!
Then Charles was caught off a top edge for a well made century and the Windies lost another quickly. With Thomas supporting Pollard they were still a chance until Thomas was unfortunately run out. Pollard's dismissal shortly after made it even tougher.
The Windies looked on target for victory thanks to a second wicket partnership of 106 between Johnson Charles and Darren Bravo. And with Kieron Pollard and Charles going along at a good rate they were slight favourites heading into the final 15 overs.
And so Australia complete a clean sweep of matches in this series, a 5-0 result and a win here at the MCG, defending their total of 274 runs to dismiss the West Indies for 257 and win by 17 runs.
